According to the reports on Thursday, snap stated that it will embark on in app warnings and safety all over the world to increase the protection mostly for the age group of 13-17 years to secure them from the online risk.
The safeguide will ensure safe communication and search. It will now show the most appropriate content according to the age of the user for the teenage users.
As per the reports, snap will introduce a Strike System for some inappropriate accounts and content as well, which will make the online risk to decrease, snap stated in a statement.
Snap stated that
“Our latest features are thoughtful in-app features that are designed to empower teens to make smarter choices and talk openly about staying safe online. We are committed to making sure Snapchat is a place where you can be creative and stay safe and above all. The safety and well-being of our community in India, which includes over 200 million users, is our top priority.”
